This is an invitation to take up space in your life, reclaim your voice, step in to your inner river and flow.

Somatic Healing means letting your body finally feel what your childhood never allowed – with gentle support, compassion and kindness.

I feel privileged to support many women. Most of them have one thing in common – they are struggling with the effects of early developmental trauma, that is often hidden and unknown to them – along with unconscious conditioned patterns, relationship struggles, health concerns and nervous system responses that don’t seem to improve, no matter how much they understand them or manage their relationships, work, diet, nutrition and supplements.

Healing early developmental, hidden trauma is a complex process, and once you begin to process it and unwind it – within your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies – your life can feel easier. Your opportunities, choices, responses to your environment and the ability to create the transformation you hope for in your relationships, work, health, and life – can transform.

Many women want to begin to prioritize their own energy, needs and desires – and there is a lot of physical, emotional and spiritual baggage that is getting in the way of doing so.

You are not who you think you are – you can break the habit of being yourself.
You are not who your hidden trauma taught you to be – those are your conditioned patterns.

Those internalized messages and beliefs are keeping you feeling small and stuck.

How you feel in your life right now is a reflection of who you believe you are.

You learned who you are from all the external and internal messages that you’ve received through your nervous system since before you were born, through the generations, and every day since the day you were born. It is fascinating to understand, and even more amazing to begin to build capacity to create the changes in our lives that we always dreamed of – and we can begin now.

As a somatic practitioner who offers The Deep Work for Women – a Somatic Healing & Integration Process – I’m a somatic energy practitioner, inherited family trauma specialist, and depth psychotherapist.

I offer space for support and healing for hidden early developmental trauma – providing the conditions for more ease, understanding and softening within your body and nervous system, so that you can complete self-protective, defensive responses and retained reflexes that you may be holding within you.

Unwinding conditioned unconscious patterns and responses, mother and father wounding, patriarchal conditioning, lack of attunement in childhood, survival strategies, chronic stress and hypervigilance – and allowing space for warmth, compassion and new understanding – that will create openings for healing, compassion and support, that may not have existed earlier in your life.

I offer a soft and sensitive space for you to discover the deepest parts of yourself, so you can feel safer being yourself – who you are actually are – guiding towards deeper trust, safety and confidence in yourself and your decisions and direction in your life. Guiding you towards more lasting feelings of safety and ease within yourself.

We can do all the practices in the world and still stay disconnected from ourselves. It’s not the practices alone, it’s how you meet what it feels like inside of your body and what that reveals to you, that creates real transformation. The real inner work is meeting parts of yourself that you were taught to disconnect from or shame, with grace and compassion. Allowing space for grieving what you were never allowed to feel. Allowing anger to be expressed, instead of suppressing it. Facing the pain and shame that keeps your heart guarded.

It’s noticing how your nervous system responds when silence feels threatening, when receiving feels like a threat to your survival. It’s catching yourself in old patterns – people-pleasing, overgiving, silencing yourself, disconnecting from yourself and others, and choosing to do something different, even when it feels scary and unfamiliar.

It’s not bypassing the anger, numbing the sadness or trying to fix the discomfort, but by staying with it long enough to finally hear what it’s been trying to say. It’s connecting with your younger parts in a way that rebuilds feelings of safety in your body, so you no longer abandon yourself when life feels hard.

It’s learning to hold your truth, your boundaries and your needs, with clarity and compassion, because you are unwilling to betray yourself to be loved. The real inner work is not glamorous – it’s sacred, it’s raw, it’s life-changing, it’s uncomfortable – it’s the path to embodied wholeness and unshakeable self-worth.

To trust in Nature and it’s innate wisdom.
To trust in the Universe that is within you.

Be still and know.

You are allowed to make changes in the way that you are living.
You are allowed to look after yourself.
You are allowed to decide what is important to you.
You are allowed to create a life with those things at the centre.

It’s okay to go slowly.
It’s okay to say no.
It’s okay to be different.

I’ve been feeling increasingly grateful to have the life I do. I want that for you too. One where I have the freedom to pour my energy into myself and my clients and to choose what happens in my life. This is a gift my female ancestors didn’t have.

When we reclaim our voice, agency and sense of self – we begin to sense our true, authentic life. When we stop pouring all of our energy into stabilizing and parenting other adults to have ‘connection’ with them. Learning to know ourselves and make ourselves important in our lives, is the biggest thing that sets us up to live our true lives.

I want to offer you support as you walk this truth of unfolding your true life.

When you feel unsafe or threatened, your nervous system acts on instinct to protect you through what’s commonly called the “fight, flight, or freeze” response.

During this dysregulated state, the body is flooded with adrenaline, cortisol, and other survival energies that—when left unresolved—can lead to the many symptoms we associate with trauma, including anxiety, depression, hypervigilance, lethargy, irritability, frustration, or any number of debilitating challenges caused by residual trauma trapped in the body.

I want to help you work with your body and befriend your nervous system to free yourself from the lingering impacts of trauma.

“Trauma happens when the energy that we mobilize to defend and protect ourselves doesn’t get used up or completed,” explains Dr. Levine. “So if we wanted to run and couldn’t, if we wanted to fight and couldn’t, that energy got stuck inside of us. This activation can stay on (inside of your body) for years.”

“It doesn’t really matter what caused the trauma. What’s most important is the completion of that response so that our nervous system is free to go back into a relaxed, alert equilibrium.”

The Deep for Women supports you to reclaim your well-being and wholeness.

Each of our sessions together is one-hour – and is unique depending on what you are experiencing on that day and would like to focus on during a session – we want to tune in and understand what’s really going on in your body – beyond pathology and diagnoses – to allow your body to move into a flow state, rather than to remain stuck in a stress response state – during the session and in to the hours and days afterwards.

This work is support for you to feel more ease through deep embodiment, the immense gifts of slowing way down, how to lovingly hold and transform your story and become a master of our nervous system.

Our early developmental and attachment wounding is a wound with life itself. To an infant, our attachment with our mother is everything – our very experience of ourselves and of the world was filtered through the body and psyche of our mother.

SLOW HEALING SOMATIC INTENSIVE SESSIONS
– Heart Healing Somatic Intensive sessions are all about you, your path and healing. These are extended sessions are scheduled over a period of days to support you along your healing path.

My clients love this work, it is nourishing and gentle. It is wonderful for healing early developmental trauma, attachment repair and shifting to a more regulated place where the heart can freely open into abundance.

You may want to schedule these sessions as a focused time for letting go of all that you healing. Heart Healing sessions consist of combining several sessions over a short period of time. They are a great way to get out of your daily routine and be immersed in healing. We may meet for multiple sessions per day over a period of days. Since you will be out of your typical routine, this will give plenty of time for integration of the work and healing.

FEMININE EMBODIMENT & PATRIARCHAL DYNAMICS – get in touch with your feminine energetic dynamics, internal felt sense, your deepest heart, masculine and feminine energies, layers of dissociation, learn about how patriarchal dynamics effect your relationships and your sense of self, heal the survival responses and defensive accommodations that keep us out of connection. NERVOUS SYSTEM HEALING for RELATIONSHIPS – (6 Session Package) Awaken in Relationship – Being Present to the Relational Wounding and the Pain We Carry – Ongoing Online Sessions for Couples – Learn to Process Deeply Held Emotion, check-in with each other regularly and learn to communicate from the heart and to connect deeply with one another again or for the first time.

Meet for a series of focused, online sessions to help uncover, understand and practice noticing ongoing nervous system triggers that keep you locked in a negative cycle of conflict / avoidance that is very difficult to resolve. Our feelings, bodily sensations and relational patterns are clues to what is being held in the unconscious – so we must be present to them.
