Spring is almost here – the air is feeling lighter and softer on our skin and our bodies are opening to the warmth of the sun. It’s time to begin again.
 
There’s a sweet feeling that comes from experiencing the quiet pleasures of life, and deeply taking them in. In these moments, we can feel as though we belong to ourselves, are present in our bodies and feel grateful to be alive.

My purpose is to help women like you heal their wounds and find inner peace and freedom. It is your right to know what it feels like to experience a profound and deep connection to yourself and others and to reclaim what is sacred to you.

I can support you to heal your wounds by gently peeling back the layers that are stopping you from living your deepest and most true life.

This deep work is an invitation to slow all the way down.

Take a moment right now to close your eyes and just notice your breath. Become aware of the energy and fluids that move through your body, and soften your experience. Allow yourself to just be.

Invite your fears in – notice how your fear, defenses and tension live in your body, and take some time to be with them. Then, let yourself know that we need our fear response to be healthy – and we can learn to invite fear in – and to be with these feelings.

So many of us are habitually suppressing our early developmental, trauma-related wounding and defensive patterns – within our bodies, at work, within our family and in our relationships.

We hide our chronic feelings of unworthiness, lack of belonging, chronic stress and disconnection. We don’t realize that these feelings aren’t our fault – they are related to deep, hidden trauma patterning that is held is our nervous system.

We can feel better. We can turn towards ourselves and attune to our brains, bodies and nervous systems.

No one will be coming to save you.

This is good news, because you can become the person who will support you, advocate for you and deeply know you first – and if you wish, you can invite others in to relationship with you.

Let’s heal the chronic stress patterns held in your physiology and a felt sense of disconnection in your relationships, work and life.

We begin with awareness, deep listening to self, and noticing layers of feeling in your body – we break through the ancestral and familial patterns that you have been carrying since childhood, and are still carrying now.

Cultivate deep trust in yourself – develop the capacity to turn towards yourself, to feel your feelings, and move out of isolation in to connection with yourself and others.

This willingness to turn towards yourself and allow yourself to notice what is holding you back, and to embrace it. It shows a willingness to become whole no matter what arises. You are beginning to open your heart with compassion to yourself.

Your body is always communicating with you, and every symptom, discomfort, and condition carries a message.

Unprocessed emotions can remain stored in the body, creating stress and leading to undesirable manifestations. But here’s the truth: you don’t have to stay stuck.

The body remembers the lost parts of us—our wildness, our creativity, our truth—are not truly lost. They are simply waiting to be reclaimed. 

This deep work honours slowness.

It respects the time it takes to heal.
Your nervous system isn’t on a timeline.
And trauma isn’t a problem to solve, it’s a wound to tend.
Tenderly. Slowly. Over time.

Therapeutic Co-Regulating Touch Bodywork for Trauma is a gentle, backed-by-science method that enables qualified practitioners to work safely and ethically with the emotions stored in the tissues and organs of the body. It works to unlock and release emotional pain buried in the body, sometimes since before we born, in-utero, our early childhood and all way up to present day adult experience.

Using touch, we reset complex physiological systems and help harmonize energy flow in a person’s body. Often, we restore what was missing in the early years. Touch can give you a greater awareness of your body’s sensations and the ability to get to know yourself better from the inside out.

Bringing a compassionate presence to the body is another essential part of healing. It helps address the neural numbing, muscular bracing, and autonomic disorganization that are physiological by-products of grief, shame, anger, and fear.

Therapeutic co-regulating touch works to heal the nervous system by providing an avenue for the body to process deep-rooted trauma and facilitate self-actualization. Through gentle, attuned touch, we can help to rebuild an underdeveloped nervous system that has been negatively impacted by early trauma.

Sessions happen fully clothed. Each session is one-hour, unless we are doing an extended session – and is unique depending on what you are experiencing on that day and would like to focus on during a session – we want to tune in and understand what’s really going on in your body – beyond pathology and diagnoses – to allow your body to move into a flow state, rather than to remain stuck in a stress response state – during the session and in the hours and days afterwards.

This work is support for you to feel more ease through deep embodiment, the immense gifts of slowing way down, how to lovingly hold and transform your story and become a master of our nervous system.

Our early developmental and attachment wounding is a wound with life itself. To an infant, our attachment with our mother is everything – our very experience of ourselves and of the world was filtered through the body and psyche of our mother.

SLOW HEALING SOMATIC INTENSIVE SESSIONS – Heart Healing Somatic Intensive sessions are all about you, your path and healing. These are extended sessions scheduled over a period of days to support you along your healing path.

My clients love this work, it is nourishing and gentle. It is wonderful for healing early developmental trauma, attachment repair and shifting to a more regulated place where the heart can freely open into abundance.

You may want to schedule these sessions as a focused time for letting go of all that you healing. Heart Healing sessions consist of combining several sessions over a short period of time. They are a great way to get out of your daily routine and be immersed in healing. We may meet for multiple sessions per day over a period of days. Since you will be out of your typical routine, this will give plenty of time for integration of the work and healing.

FEMININE EMBODIMENT – get in touch with your feminine energetic dynamics, internal felt sense, your deepest heart, masculine and feminine energies, layers of dissociation, practice pleasure practices that can help you unravel pleasure and sensuality, heal the survival responses and defensive accommodations that keep us out of connection. Our feelings, bodily sensations and relational patterns are clues to what is being held in the unconscious – so we must be present to them.
