Follow Your Inner Guidance & Trust the Flow of Your Life.
I flow with the current of life and know that everything that happens is for my greatest good.
In your quiet, reflective time, you can hear your inner guidance. When you take the time to close your eyes and listen within each breath.
Your intuition and inner guidance guides you to your highest good. Your task is to distinguish your inner guidance from fearful thinking.
Your inner wisdom speaks to you through your feelings and thoughts – the more you are aware of your feelings the easier it will be to hear and follow your inner guidance. You develop your inner guidance when you listen to your inner messages and pay attention to the feedback you receive.
Get in the habit of paying attention to and acting on your feelings and thoughts, and it will become easier to distinguish between what is inner guidance and what is not.
Start in small ways by saying ‘no’ when you mean no, and ‘yes’ and when you mean yes.
Ask yourself throughout the day, is this what I feel like doing?
Is this the most joyful activity for me, or am I making myself do it because I think I have to?
Trust that your feelings of joy, delight, and self-love are always leading you toward your higher good.
Inner guidance about your future path often comes to you when you are in a quiet, reflective state, performing activities that take you out of your normal awareness. This kind of guidance can be a thought, feeling, picture, or daydream or what you would like to be doing. It may grow and build on itself each time you get quiet.
You can develop this kind of guidance by giving yourself more time to sit quietly, relaxing your body and reflecting on your life. Performing creative or athletic activities can also trigger this kind of intuition. You may get sudden and unexpected insights into your life while you are painting, drawing, playing or creating music, running or swimming.
When you get an idea about yourself and your paths for the future, don’t overanalyze it, just follow your joyful impulses, and your ideas will unfold into the forms that best serve you.
Begin to develop the habit of paying close attention to your thoughts and feelings. Become aware of how you normally think and feel so you can recognize subtle changes. You will be more and more aware of your inner guidance and the messages you are always receiving.
Your higher self speaks to you by making you feel joyful when you follow your higher path, and resistant and heavy when you don’t. If you are forcing yourself to do things according to a list of ‘shoulds’, you are not listening to the deeper part of yourself.
The deepest part of you wants you to feel joy in everything you do in your life. It is a good thing to temporarily set aside the activities that you have been telling yourself you should do, and ask yourself what you would like to do. By following your joyful feelings, you begin to know yourself at a much deeper level.
Deep down, you may feel that you aren’t worthy of feeling joy or having something different in your life that you have now. Getting quiet and reflecting allows you to begin to know which actions you can do to honour yourself each day.
When you take time to do nurturing activities, and allow your needs to be met, your subconscious receives a message that you are a worthy person who deserves to have your desires met. It is easier to start with small steps towards honouring your deeper needs and feelings.
The more you feel joyful when you do things and follow your intuition, hunches, urges, and higher vision, the more quickly and easily you will move towards what you’ve been dreaming about.
How do you know when it’s time to change course in your life?
No path is ever closed or slowed down unless this is for highest good – though it may not seem like that at the time.
If your path now is a struggle, if it’s getting too difficult. take time to re-examine what you are doing. There will be a better way for you to do things, and something new may be emerging in you.
Even the best plans in your life must be constantly revisited and revised. Allow elements of your life to flow, change and evolve.
What works for you today, may not work in the future, without some evolution.
Ask yourself – what are your hopes and dreams now?
What new vision do you have for yourself and your future?
The old ways of doing things will not be able to help you get to a new place within yourself, and your life.
What step would you take if you knew anything was possible?
Your life is always evolving – trust your inner guidance and step into the flow of your life.
