Break Free of Your Inner Glass Ceiling
For the longest time I was in hiding.
It took me a long time to realize that.
When I did, I began to understand that I was putting all of my energy into doing the things that society told me that I needed to do to be successful – and I was not paying attention to my deepest truth.
I didn’t know how.
Does that sound familiar?
I was ‘accomplishing’ a lot of things in the world, but no matter what I did, I felt unfulfilled on the inside.
I was hitting my inner glass ceiling.
Are you successful on the outside, but feel unfulfilled, empty and disconnected on the inside?
And I’m paying attention.
Many of us have spent months and years of our lives bumping up against our inner glass ceiling.
We’ve wanted to change the way we felt, so we changed the external circumstances, in the hope that we would feel differently on the inside.
The feelings that these changes bring don’t last for long.
We haven’t realized that the changes we need, are the deep internal changes that WE can take responsibility for – that will change our lives for good.
The feelings of peace and fulfillment that we’re looking for, come from being to true to ourselves – by looking within – not by following the ‘rules’ or by achieving more accomplishments.
What changed things for me was that I gave myself the gift of time – to explore who I really was, without a deadline, rules or agenda.
Time to learn how beliefs and patterns of behaviour had dimmed the light inside of me and got in the way of my true, authentic self.
As we begin to pay attention to ourselves, we may feel fearful and anxious. We are stepping into unknown territory.
During these times, we can learn to trust ourselves. We learn that by paying attention to ourselves, a new space will open up within us to allow us to shine from within our hearts.
Everything can change – when you allow yourself to come out of hiding and to understand how you’ve allowed your inner pilot light to dim to your true dreams and hopes for your one, beautiful life.

Allow yourself to receive the care, support and sensitivity you need to grow.
Give yourself the gift of your visibility – of allowing what’s inside you to be communicated to yourself first, then to the world.
Step out of invisibility and find your authentic voice.
